Hindus say life has four stages and people have four needs; at one point, we all become Seekers in need of Enlightenment. Questioning the answers I'd been given to life's big questions, I set out on a metaphysical journey to find my own. Let me tell you why my life experiences and skill sets enable me to write a trilogy with such sweeping spiritual and scientific scope.

Having decided to pursue my passion for writing as a second career, I've invested in my craft by working with an editor, attending conferences and classes, and joining writer's groups.

As a lifelong amateur astronomer, my degree in science and career experience permit me to write with authority about the cosmos and the impact of technology.

My love of nature, my faith, and belief in the sanctity of family and community allow me to write with conviction about spirituality. A multicultural background and global travels have served to broaden my worldview.

Having done the extensive research needed to write this 'Tour Guide for Seekers,' my marketing savvy and communication skills support the commitment I've made to market it.

Since I am actively seeking an agent to represent my PROPHETURE trilogy, let me first pitch why it is MARKETABLE.

It is timely and urgent. Spanning the decades from the Cold War to an unfolding world where terrorists have the bomb and climate change is playing havoc with a fragile ecology already devastated by overconsumption, the stakes are not only life or death for the protagonists but for humanity.

It has broad appeal. Written in a literary vein, it will appeal to those seeking a new perspective of the human journey. As Sci-fi, it will resonate with readers who like tales of UFO's, abductions, first contact, and aliens with wizard-like powers. Visual and fantastical yet grounded in realism, it entertains, enlightens, and empowers.

It is inspiring. Against the backdrop of personal tragedy, in each novel the protagonist finds a new paradigm of belonging, being, and belief that is the catalyst for personal change. On the broader stage, Turen is the 'Tour Guide' for those who seek to reconcile science with religion, humankind with nature, and the world's warring faiths with each other.

I have held executive positions in both Canada and the U.S. garnering global sales and marketing experience.

My achievemnets include being President and CEO of a $2 billion enterprise with 3500 employees, and being appointed by the Chairman to IBM's worldwide Senior Management Group.

I have advised both Industry and Government panels on technology and trade issues, and been active in fundrasing for both charity and Universities.

Born in Montreal, Canada, I am a graduate of McGill University with a major in mathematics and a minor in physics. Married with three children, I am bilingual and hold dual Canadian and American citizenship.
